Malaysian Professionals In The Middle East Get Oil & Gas Update

PETRONAS and TalentCorp host networking dinner to build ties and boost development.

Doha, 20 June 2014 - Malaysian professionals living in Doha were last night briefed by Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), Malaysia’s leading oil & gas giant, on the diverse career opportunities now available back home, following a Networking Dinner co-organised by PETRONAS and Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad (TalentCorp).

The event is part of a Professional Networking and Recruitment Series planned under TalentCorp’s international Outreach and Engagement sessions in the Middle East. The outreach session will carry on today in Doha and will also take place in Dubai on 21 June.

The Networking Dinner took place in the Hotel InterContinental Doha, and brought together more than 100 Malaysian professionals. The session explored the scope for collaboration and professional opportunities that are available in Malaysia. The evening also provided a good opportunity for the diaspora to be apprised with the latest updates on Malaysia’s Economic and Government Transformation Programmes.
