Engineering Students Explore Internship And Employment Opportunities At SFCF USM
SEBERANG PERAI, 20 November 2014 – Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad (TalentCorp), in collaboration with the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), today hosted the final Sector Focused Career Fair (SFCF) of the year at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Nibong Tebal campus, focusing on the engineering sector.
SFCF USM aims to educate the public, particularly students, on the career paths available under one of Malaysia’s priority sectors and provide opportunities for participants to meet with over 50 prospective employers including Agilent, Celcom Axiata, Freescale Semiconductor, MARA Aerospace & Technologies, Prasarana, Schlumberger Seismic Manufacturing and Sime Darby. And with over 2,000 students expected to attend today, the career fair also provides a platform for participating employers to scout for potential talents from universities in Malaysia.

Graduates and undergraduates will be also able to explore internship and employment opportunities through activities such as Coffee Talk and Career Talk sessions, which enable participants to engage in a relaxed atmosphere with corporate leaders and senior human resource representatives of participating companies.
